The TTCP program is used to do memory to memory  performance  measurements
with  TCP/IP.  The  program  we  use, comes from the public domain and has
been adapted and modified by several persons.
<p> <A HREF="http://consult.cern.ch/xwho/people/929">Danny Davids</A> <I>(daniel.davids@cern.ch)</I> 
  has adapted the <a href="ttcp.c"> TTCP program</a> to run under the different 
  Unix operating systems being used at CERN. He is also the originator of the 
  program named <a href="average.c"> average</a> ,computing the Mean and the Sigma 
  of repetitive tests.
